Teaching in Semester 1

This semester I am teaching the first-year subject Introduction to Formal Logic and an honours (fourth-year) seminar Logic and Philosophy. I’ll teach the honours class from draft material from my (as yet only in scribbles in my notebooks) draft book.

Zachary is really great in the picture. I liked your redesign.

Will you change the tapes from last semester, or will you keep the current ones?

Hi Tony: I’m glad you like the redesign of the front page.

As for the recordings of lectures this semester, I think I can’t do the online recording this time because I’m in lecture theatres that aren’t equipped for it. (So we’ll revert to using cassette recordings that the students can use in the library.) In general, however, the online recordings are updated each time we run the course, provided that the recording facilities are available.

Your final lecture is perfectly audible. The files of initial lectures, however, contain moments when your voice sounds too far away.

Second year student taking Intro to Formal Logic, and being determined not to study. ^_^

Had great fun in this subject, though that proof of why trees work… >.<

Just wanted to say thanks for making the subject so interesting. :) Now just don’t fail me…. :P
